A cup or a clip?

This week we were at a crossroads, and we had to make a decision: what do we prefer, a smart feeding cup or a smart bag clip?

Each of the products had its advantages. The main advantage of the feeding cup is that it is suitable both for people who use a bag and for those who use a box to keep the food, and the advantage of the smart clip is that it is a more aesthetic product, in which everything happens on top of the clip without being divided into 2 different parts.

So we went out into the field: We tested about 14 dog owners and asked them which of the products they were interested in using, and the answers we received were interesting: more or less 50% of the respondents said they use a box, and 50% use a bag. Of all the bag owners, all unequivocally chose the clip as the product they would use. Their claims were that it is more convenient and practical, an action they do anyway and don't need to invest effort in.

The owners of the boxes automatically claimed that they would have chosen a feeding cup, because they have nothing to do with a clip, and don't use a bag. Then, we tried to dive a little deeper with them into the use of the product, asking questions like "do you keep the cup today inside the box or outside" (unequivocally - everyone keeps it inside), and "if you had to take the cup outside, do you have a place to put it to see it a good way?" (Most answers were no.).

After these questions, we asked them, once again, if they would use a feeding cup, and an absolute majority of people stated that they would not use the product, because they don't have a place to put the cup outside, or simply that they would not change their habit of leaving the cup The feeding is inside.

Therefore, we made a decision to move forward with the clip at the moment because, despite the fact that it is not helpful, for some dog owners, it is still more practical for those who do use a food bag.
